Developers in Sweden have created a website that can help you delete your online presence with just a few clicks.

Available at Deseat.me , Dahlbo and Linus Unnebäck designed the internet deletion site as a place for people to "clean up their internet presence".

The service lets you see all of the websites you're signed up to or have accounts for and asks if you'd like to delete them or unsubscribe. It asks for your email address and password so it can scan for the sites you're signed up to.

Dahlbo and Unnebäck said they take the privacy of users seriously and that the program runs on the user's computer, rather than their servers.

"So basically the only thing you're telling us is what accounts you want to delete. That's it," they said. The website uses Google's security protocol, which means it doesn't gain access to users' log in information, they added.

Deseat.me is fairly limited at the moment. It requires users to have a Google email address that is used for all of your online accounts. So for those ancient MySpace and Bebo accounts that you signed up for with a Hotmail address you'll need to go to the websites yourself and delete your account.

It also hasn't managed to retrieve account deletion information from every service yet so some appear with a greyed out delete button. And it may never work for smaller sites. That said, it does already work with most major websites that users would be likely to have accounts with, such as Facebook , Twitter and Evernote.

How to delete yourself from the internet

How To Delete Your Google History And Search Data

Google’s might be known primarily as a search engine, but it’s also dipped into many other sectors, from smartphones, to keyboard apps and emails. In fact, if you think about it, you probably use at least three or four of Google’s services every day – even if you don't use an Android phone.

However, this comes with one quite worrying drawback, so perhaps it’s best to break it to you in bold italics: Google knows almost everything about you. In the past, keeping track of exactly what Google knows about you was pretty tricky. Now, though, Google has launched an opt-in service known as “ My Activity ”, a page where you can see everything Google has learnt about you in one place. It’s basically like a web browser history, except this time it’s dialled up to 11.

However, once you’ve opted in to My Activity, you’ll also be able to remove all the data knows about you, and it’s relatively easy to do.

How to delete your Google history

First, go to your My Activity page by clicking here

Then on the left-hand side of the page, go to the Delete Activity tab

You’ll then be able to delete things by keyword or topic, or by date – and you want to go the latter.

Instead of selecting a date, go to the drop down menu next to “Today” and scroll down to all time. Once that’s selected, click Delete.

If this is the first time you’ve cleared your Google history, you’ll get a warning that explains how Google can use your data to improve its services. But if you still want to wipe your Google history, just click OK, and you’re done.

The first thing you need to know about sharing GIFs to Instagram is that you're not really sharing a GIF after it's all said and done.

What I mean is, the GIF you want to share basically needs to be converted into a video file. More specifically, an MP4 video file.

Yeah, it's a little bit of a pain in the ass to convert the files, but hey, if you want to grow your meme-based Insta, you're gonna need to put in the hard work.

For iOS

There are dozens of apps available that'll convert your GIFs into a video file, but none as fast as using GifLab (free) for iOS.

Download GifLab (free) for iOS.

Step 1: Save the the GIF you want to share to Instagram to your camera roll.

Step 2: Open GifLab and select "GIF to Instagram."

Step 3: Select your GIF and adjust the playback speed.

Step 4: Tap "Save and share on Instagram."

For Android

On Android, the easiest way to post a GIF is with GIPHY CAM (free).

Download GIPHY CAM (free).

Step 1: Save the the GIF you want to share to Instagram to your camera roll (Download folder).

Step 2: Open GIPHY CAM and tap on the camera roll (film strip).

Step 3: Select your GIF and then tap the > button.

Step 4: Wait for the GIF to convert, tap the Instagram button, and then share.
