The good news is SanDisk has launched a 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card which currently the world's largest microSD card in terms of capacity for use in mobile devices.
The announcement was made by Western Digital - SanDisk's parent company at the IFA 2017 in Berlin. According to Western Digital, SanDisks's new card is well designed for use in Android smartphones and tablets, wielding the capacity to hold up to 40 hours of full HD video. It also features fast transfer of up to 1,200 photos per minute with a 100MB read speed. The new device is also built on the UHS Speed Class 1 which is currently the best available performance for microSD cards.
The massive capcacity microSD card will be of help when it comes to storing high quality files on mobile devices such as HD photos and videos, 4K movies, and much more.

Western Digital reveals it managed to achieve this capacity thanks to its well structured memory technology, as well as design and production processes which allow it more bits per die.

The card will be available on SanDisk for a price of $249.99.
